Job summary

WPS in Southampton, Hampshire is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team supporting the Hampshire Blue Light contract based in Southampton. This role delivers planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and minor project works while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer service within critical facilities that support essential community services.

With a flexible, team oriented approach you will diagnose faults, record works using CAFM

Qualifications

Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or Building Services.
Level 3 and 18th edition.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Flexible, multi-skilled approach to maintenance.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building fabric disciplines.
Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to minimise downtime.
Complete statutory compliance checks and maintenance activities.
Record works using CAFM and mobile technology.
Support minor works and improvement projects.
Build relationships with client representatives and end users.
Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota.
