Job summary

Circle Health Group in Glasgow is seeking an Engineering Technician (Multiskilled) – Electrical to join our Ross Hall Cluster. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with an on-call rota and shifts, supporting hospital sites within the cluster.

The successful candidate will bring electrical/mechanical expertise, CSCS/ECS as applicable, and a robust safety focus. Salary up to £40,995 per year, with a comprehensive employee benefits package.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card at appropriate level; ECS Card if electrically qualified.
• City & Guilds Part 3, ONC or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Training to gain RP (Responsible Person) for medical gas works and progression to AP (Authorised Person).
• Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Strong Health and Safety understanding with local H&S reps support.
• Desirable understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP; training provided.
• Good organisation and time management with multiple priorities.
• Must hold a UK full driving licence.
• DBS check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support main Hospital, Clinics & Decontamination unit; complete work orders for maintenance.,
• Provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support at a specific hospital site.
• Provide engineering health, safety and environmental support per policies and procedures.
• Mentor and train other Site Technicians or Engineering Assistants.
• Advise Local Hospital managers on engineering matters; uphold high standards.
