Job summary

Cherwell Valley Silos, based near King's Sutton, Banbury, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with mechanical knowledge to keep our animal feed facility running safely and efficiently. The role balances preventative maintenance with rapid fault-finding across electrical automation and mechanical systems to maximise uptime.

Qualifications

• Core technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Electrical compliance qualification (18th edition) or regional equivalent.
• Time-served engineering apprenticeship in manufacturing or heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Work with our team and contractors.
• Fault finding on electrical faults using schematics and meters.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and control panels.
