Job summary

HRGO Recruitment on Canvey Island is looking for a Multiskilled Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a busy team. The role combines driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle with forklift operation and warehouse duties, requiring reliability and accuracy.

You will handle stock, assist with general site maintenance, follow health and safety guidelines, and work Monday to Friday 8:00–16:30 with a one-hour break. A valid UK driving licence with clean history and forklift licences are essential.

MULTISKILLED 7.5 TONNE DRIVER/WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATIVE NEEDED.

Pay - £30k - £32k per annum

Hours - 8am-4:30pm - 1 hour break

HRGO Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Multi-Skilled Forklift Driver / 7.5 tonne Driver / Warehouse Operative / Handyman for our well-established client based in Canvey Island.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, team-focused environment where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of duties including counterbalance and reach forklift operation, 7.5 tonne lorry driving and deliveries, warehouse responsibilities, stock handling, general site maintenance, and basic handyman tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance/reach Forklift.
• Putting orders together in the Warehouse.
• Metal Cutting.
• Using guidelines to build items.
• General organisation and tidying of warehouse.
• Driving of 7.5 tonne lorry - typically 2-5+ deliveries a week carrying no more than 3 tonnes.
• Assisting with stock control.

Requirements:

• Full clean UK drivers license - min. 6 points, no DD or DDR's.
• Valid counterbalance and reach Forklift licence. (no in house licenses)
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow guidelines and work independently.
• Hands-on, organised individual open to picking up new tasks to support the wider team.
