Anderson Recruitment Ltd is assisting a well established client in Gloucestershire to appoint an experienced HR Generalist. The role is full-time and permanent, based across two sites in Stroud and Gloucester with on-site parking, and requires a hands-on approach to the full employee lifecycle.

You will deliver day-to-day HR support, handle employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, inductions, policy updates, and HR administration, reporting to the HR Director and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
• Experience working within a multisite organisation.
• Practical experience of employee relations processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Support managers with employee relations matters.
• Manage absence, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Support recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Conduct inductions and exit interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Prepare HR documentation, including offer and termination letters.
• Support training and development activities.
• Assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
• Produce HR reports on headcount, turnover and retention.
• Support change management initiatives.
• Assist with external audits and HR compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and procedures.
• Provide general HR administration support.
