Job summary

Premier Work Support is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of workplace facilities across Glasgow and Edinburgh, with monthly travel to Carlisle and Perth. You will coordinate maintenance, cleaning and support services, manage contractors and budgets, ensure health and safety standards, and use facilities management systems to keep sites running smoothly.

This is a full-time temp-to-perm role with travel between sites and potential for permanent

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or related environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and confident when solving problems.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of workplace facilities, including maintenance, cleaning and general services.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure services are delivered effectively and on time.
• Monitor facilities, equipment and office supplies, ensuring they remain available and fully operational.
• Carry out site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
• Respond promptly to facilities-related issues and requests and ensure they are resolved effectively.
• Maintain accurate records relating to maintenance, contractors, service agreements and compliance.
• Monitor facilities expenditure and support budget and cost management.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
