Job summary

Multitask Personnel are recruiting a temporary Facilities Coordinator for a prestigious corporate site in Glasgow city centre. Immediate start, 45 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm).

Role covers health and safety checks, contractor supervision and front-of-house duties, with a focus on maintaining high service standards during a short-term sickness absence. £12.80 per hour, in a modern city centre location.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, workplace services or building services is essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are required.
• Customer-focused with a professional and approachable manner.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices is important.
• First Aid and Fire Marshal experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular health and safety inspections and checks.
• Manage and supervise contractors on site.
• Monitor reactive maintenance to meet service level agreements.
• Receive and manage deliveries and mail.
• Support meeting room and event set-ups.
• Undertake general manual handling duties.
• Act as Fire Marshal and First Aider when required.
• Provide a professional front-of-house service for staff and visitors.
• Program and issue access cards.
• Investigate and escalate site-related issues as needed.

Multitask Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management client for a temporary Facilities Coordinator to join their team at a prestigious corporate site in Glasgow city centre. This role is to provide cover for a period of long-term sickness absence and offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular health and safety inspections and checks
• Managing and supervising contractors on site
• Monitoring reactive maintenance works to ensure service level agreements are met
• Receiving and managing deliveries
• Processing and recording incoming and outgoing mail
• Supporting meeting room and event set-ups
• Undertaking general manual handling duties
• Acting as Fire Marshal and First Aider when required
• Providing a professional front-of-house service for staff and visitors
• Programming and issuing access cards
• Investigating and escalating site-related issues where necessary

About You

• Previous experience within Facilities Management, Workplace Services, Building Services or a similar environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
