Job summary

Premier Recruitment Solutions in Lowestoft is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of elderly care homes, driving performance, improving care standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will support Home Managers, lead multi-site teams, monitor budgets and occupancy, and deliver person-centred care and positive resident outcomes across the region, with clear leadership and development of staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in elderly care settings.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and improve performance.
• Leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational performance of multiple care homes.
• Support and mentor Home Managers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Ensure services comply with CQC regulations and standards.
• Monitor budgets, occupancy, staffing levels and financial performance.
• Implement improvement plans and support inspections and audits.
• Promote resident wellbeing and person-centered care; develop staff.
• Build relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external professionals.
• Analyse KPI data and report to senior leadership.
• Support recruitment, retention and succession planning across services.
