Job summary

Rowlands is seeking a Multisite Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join the Poole team. You will participate in the dispensing process, check and prepare medication orders, and ensure safety and accuracy in handling pharmaceuticals.

GPhC registration and ACPT qualification (or accredited equivalent) are required. A customer-focused approach is essential. The role is 37.5 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, with pay £16.11 per hour plus a £1 supplement.

Qualifications

• ACPT qualification level in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent.
• Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience in a customer-facing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the entire dispensing process.
• Checking and preparing medication orders.
• Ensuring accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Delivering courteous and effective customer service at all times.
• Complete and maintain accurate administrative records.
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment.
• Receive, store and issue medications and other supplies.
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Provide healthcare advice and signpost customers to resources.
