Job summary

Montu UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at our Winnersh site to ensure every medicine leaving our pharmacy is correct. You will lead accuracy checks, own the end-to-end dispensing process, and maintain precise prescription records within a culture of safety and quality.

You will mentor junior colleagues, stay updated on regulations, and work with the pharmacy team with pace to deliver what patients need when they need it.

Qualifications

• Solid, proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking.
• Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and SOPs.
• The kind of attention to detail that you simply cannot switch off.

Job description

What is the job?

You will support our pharmacy operation at the Winnersh site. You are responsible for making sure every medicine that leaves our pharmacy is right. That means accuracy checking dispensed medicines, keeping standards high, and actively contributing to a culture where getting it right the first time is non-negotiable. You will not be managed through every task. You will be trusted to lead, to spot problems before they become incidents, and to raise the bar for everyone around you.

What do you need?

• Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC — no exceptions

• Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and SOPs

• The kind of attention to detail that you simply cannot switch off

What do you get?

• Hourly rate of £16 to £18

• Shifts are 8 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid break

• Shifts start times from 7am to 10am

• Monday to Saturday
