Job summary

Busuu is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to handle user queries in English and French or German or Turkish. You will respond to emails and live chats, hit SLAs, and maintain high customer satisfaction with upselling where appropriate.

Using Zendesk, you will resolve issues from bugs to refunds, escalate when needed, and help improve processes in a fast-growing EdTech environment. Empathy and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Fluency in English and one of French/German/Turkish.
• Typing speed of at least 35 wpm.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
• Strong communication and empathy with customers.
• Experience upselling to Premium subscriptions.
• Familiarity with Zendesk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming queries promptly and professionally.
• Resolve customer queries and provide appropriate solutions.
• Identify needs to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Log new bugs for Technical/Education teams.
• Handle refunds and check payment statuses per policy.
• Escalate issues and share new insights with peers and managers.
• Follow policies while suggesting process improvements.
• Share best practices with the team.
