Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Multidrop Van Drivers for our clients based in Ferndown. The role involves driving a sprinter van to deliver parcels and occasionally collect items. Some collections may be bulky, so some manual handling is required. This is an ongoing temporary position that could lead to permanent work.

You will typically work Monday to Friday with start times from 08:00 to finish around 5/6pm. A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.

Qualifications

• Monday to Friday work pattern (weekend work could be available).
• Start time 08:00 to finish 5/6pm.
• Previous van driving experience is essential.
• Experience using a handheld scanner would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive a sprinter van to make parcel deliveries and occasional collections.

Job description

MULTIDROP VAN DRIVERS WANTED! IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE! The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Multidrop Van Drivers for our clients based in Ferndown. The role will be driving a sprinter van, doing parcel deliveries and sometimes doing collections. Some collections can be bulky so a degree of manual handling is involved with this role. This is an ongoing temporary position to start immediately, that could result in more permanent work.

Requirements:

• You will be required to work Monday to Friday (Weekend work could be available)
• Start time: 08.00am until finish 5/6pm (job on finish)
• Previous van driving experience is essential to be successful.
• Experience using a hand held scanner would be an advantage.

The package:

• Pay rate: £13.00 per hour - non-negotiable.
• Overtime after 40 hours per week

What you need:

• Full UK Licence
• No more than 6 points on your licence (No DD/DR).
• Willing and positive attitude
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients / customers.
• Ability to work within a team and alone
• Ability to read and understand English
• Reliability
