Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail operations in Linlithgow. The role is temporary, paid £13.69 per hour for 32 hours weekly, with shifts from 10:15am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday and weekend availability.

You will start each day at the local delivery office sorting and loading mail, then use a handheld device for navigation and signature capture. Deliveries by foot or vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily, lifting bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (clean licence preferred)
• Previous delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
