Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail in Wilton, Taunton, on a temporary basis. The role is 37 hours per week at £13.69 per hour, with a 14:00–21:00 shift and weekend availability.

You start at the local delivery office, loading mail, then navigate with a handheld device to deliver on foot or by vehicle. The position requires a Full UK manual driving licence (points may be limited), good time management, strong customer service, and comfort working outdoors in all

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
