Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care’s Moorview Referrals in Northumberland is seeking a Multidisciplinary Veterinary Nurse to join our busy referral hospital on a full-time basis. You’ll rotate through Medicine, ECC, Wards, Soft Tissue, Orthopaedics and Imaging, with exposure to Cardiology, Oncology and Spinal cases, developing your clinical skills across multiple disciplines with the support of an experienced team.

You’ll work a flexible 40-hour rota between 6:30 am and 9 pm, with either 5x8-hour shifts or

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging such as CT and radiography.
• Monitoring anaesthesia.
• Inpatient care including medicating and monitoring hospitalised patients.
• Discharging patients.
• Providing perioperative rehabilitation.
• Preparing patients for theatre.
• Scrubbing into procedures where required.
