Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Multidisciplinary Veterinary Nurse for Moorview Referrals. You will rotate through Medicine, ECC, Wards, Soft Tissue, Orthopaedics, and Imaging, gaining exposure to Cardiology, Oncology and Spine cases in a busy referral hospital.

The role offers a flexible 40-hour week with varied shifts and a strong training environment. We welcome newly qualified nurses and provide comprehensive training in a large, supportive team with opportunities to develop across multiple

Qualifications

Registered veterinary nurse with the RCVS is required.
Experience in clinical practice including medical and surgical nursing is expected.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues are essential.
Good organisational skills and workload management are important.
Proactive learning and continuous improvement mindset are valued.
Experience in surgery and anaesthesia, including complex cases, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple specialist departments.
Support monitoring anaesthesia and perioperative care.
Deliver inpatient care including medicating, monitoring and walking patients.
Discharge patients and provide perioperative rehabilitation.
Prepare patients for theatre and scrub into procedures when required.
Assist across diverse referral caseload and collaborate with clinicians.
