Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Multidisciplinary Veterinary Nurse for Moorview Referrals. You will rotate through Medicine, ECC, Wards, Soft Tissue, Orthopaedics, and Imaging, gaining exposure to Cardiology, Oncology and Spine cases in a busy referral hospital.

The role offers a flexible 40-hour week with varied shifts and a strong training environment. We welcome newly qualified nurses and provide comprehensive training in a large, supportive team with opportunities to develop across multiple

Qualifications

• Registered veterinary nurse with the RCVS is required.
• Experience in clinical practice including medical and surgical nursing is expected.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues are essential.
• Good organisational skills and workload management are important.
• Proactive learning and continuous improvement mindset are valued.
• Experience in surgery and anaesthesia, including complex cases, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple specialist departments.
• Support monitoring anaesthesia and perioperative care.
• Deliver inpatient care including medicating, monitoring and walking patients.
• Discharge patients and provide perioperative rehabilitation.
• Prepare patients for theatre and scrub into procedures when required.
• Assist across diverse referral caseload and collaborate with clinicians.
