Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking an OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Moorview Referrals in Northumberland. You will deliver high-quality nursing care across emergency and critical care, medicine and surgery, while supporting excellent client experiences within a busy referral hospital.

The role operates on a 4-on, 8-off rota with 13.5-hour shifts from 6pm to 7:30am, plus approximately 35 hours of cover throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS is required.
• Experience in clinical practice with confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Willingness to work out-of-hours and participate in a referral environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during OOH shifts.
• Support excellent client experiences and care continuity.
• Rotate through ECC, medicine kennels, and other departments as needed.
