Job summary

Rick Stein Restaurants is seeking an experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead across our multi-venue group, including The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. You will drive guest hospitality, coach teams and uphold our high service standards in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

You’ll be the calm, capable presence during busy services, travel between venues as needed, and share our passion for seafood, wine and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous FOH supervisor or team leader experience.
• Ability to lead a team during a busy service.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong interest in food, wine and seafood.
• Calm, professional under pressure; adaptable across venues.
• Willingness to travel between venues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support front-of-house teams across venues to ensure smooth service.
• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and guest hospitality.
• Support teams during busy services and lead by example.
• Maintain consistent service standards across the group.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Share knowledge of our food, seafood, wines, drinks and menus with guests and colleagues.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle questions confidently.
• Work with managers, chefs and bar teams to deliver seamless service.
• Assist with training and onboarding.
