Job summary

Caval is seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join the busy maintenance team delivering reactive maintenance and repair works across the Midlands and into the Lincolnshire area on a long-term government contract.

The role covers attending call-outs, diagnosing issues and carrying out carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and other general building works. Travel across the Midlands and towards Lincoln is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a multi-trade maintenance role.
• Good general building and repair skills.
• Experience working on reactive maintenance or call-out contracts.
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel across the Midlands and towards Lincoln.
• A professional approach and good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive maintenance call-outs across the region
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions
• Carry out general multi-trade maintenance and repairs

• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and work to agreed response times

The Role

You will be responsible for attending reactive maintenance call-outs at various properties, diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs to a high standard.

The role will involve travelling across the Midlands and towards Lincoln, so candidates must be comfortable with regional travel.

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Trader / Maintenance Operative with a strong background in reactive maintenance.

You should have:

• Good customer-facing and communication skills
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
