Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to support small projects and reactive maintenance across commercial sites in the Midlands. The role involves practical work in brickwork, groundwork and general repairs, with travel between sites and occasional overnight stays.

You will be responsible for reactive maintenance, completing small projects, groundworks and snagging tasks, working solo or in a two-person team while adhering to safety procedures.

• Travel between sites across the Midlands, with occasional overnight stays when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.

We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to support small projects and reactive maintenance across commercial sites in the Midlands.

This role suits someone with a practical background in general building and maintenance who is comfortable travelling between sites and carrying out a variety of tasks including brickwork, groundwork and general repairs.

• Undertake groundworks including paving preparation, setting posts and small excavation work.
• Carry out snagging and general site maintenance tasks.

• Travel between sites across the Midlands, with occasional overnight stays when required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.

Requirements

• Experience in multi-trade maintenance or general building works.
• Skills in areas such as brickwork, roofing, paving, groundworks or general repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work independently and solve problems on site.
• Understanding of limitations around electrical and plumbing work.
