Job summary

The Hyde Group in Brighton is seeking a Multi Trade Operative (Voids) to perform carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance across our housing stock.

The role requires versatility and independence, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship and meeting customers' needs. A valid UK driving licence is required; a company van and fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing and plastering.
• Experience in social housing is desirable.
• Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials and safety protocols.

• Full and clean UK driver’s licence.

Hyde is looking to recruit a Multi Trade Operative.

As a Multi Trader at Hyde, you will be a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance. This role requires a versatile professional who can address a range of property needs efficiently. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall well-being of our customers by ensuring the quality and functionality of our housing units.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting carpentry tasks, including constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures, doors etc.
• Collaborating with other maintenance professionals to complete comprehensive property projects.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Providing excellent customer service to customers.

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, FRA fire doors and general maintenance.
• Experience working in social housing is desirable.
• Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Full and Clean UK driver's licence.
