Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a skilled Carpenter and Plumber Multi Trader to join our maintenance team in London, covering DA, ME, and BR postcodes. You’ll repair and maintain Hyde homes, handling carpentry and plumbing tasks with attention to quality, safety, and customer care.

You will work collaboratively to ensure jobs are completed right first time, with a focus on delivering reliable, respectful service in residents’ homes.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry and plumbing.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Experience in social housing is a bonus.
• Able to manage own workload independently.
• Customer-friendly attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade repairs including carpentry and plumbing primarily.
• Fix day-to-day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring.
• Complete patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and similar finishing works.
• Work safely and follow Hyde’s health and safety procedures.
• Provide a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes.

Would you like to join Hyde as a multitrader?

Hyde is looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our busy maintenance team. If you’re a hands‑on tradesperson who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in doing things properly, we’d like to hear from you. As a Multi Trader at Hyde, you’ll be working in our homes carrying out day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance. You’ll be trusted to get jobs done right first time and to treat our customers with respect in their homes.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out multi‑trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing primarily
• Fixing day‑to‑day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring
• Completing patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and similar finishing works
• Working safely at all times and following Hyde’s health and safety procedures
• Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry, plumbing, experience working in social housing is a bonus
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication skills and a customer‑friendly attitude
• Valid Full UK Driver's Licence.
