The Hyde Group is hiring a Multi-Trader for its London maintenance team, covering DA, ME and BR postcodes. You will perform multi-trade repairs, focusing on carpentry and plumbing, and handle day-to-day maintenance in tenants’ homes.

Applicants should have solid multi-trade experience, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and possess strong customer-service skills. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Would you like to join Hyde as a multitrader?

Hyde is looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our busy maintenance team. If you're a hands-on tradesperson who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in doing things properly, we'd like to hear from you. As a Multi Trader at Hyde, you'll be working in our homes carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance. You'll be trusted to get jobs done right first time and to treat our customers with respect in their homes.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out multi-trade repairs including carpentry, primarily
• Fixing day-to-day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms
• Completing other general maintenance, including, plumbing, patch plastering, minor tiling, painting etc
• Following work orders and reporting back on progress and materials used
• Working safely at all times and following Hyde's health and safety procedures
• Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes

What we're looking for

• Solid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry and plumbing, experience working in social housing is a bonus
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• A practical problem-solver who can spot issues and fix them properly
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
• Valid Full UK Driver's Licence.
