Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join a growing property maintenance team delivering responsive repairs in social housing. You will work in occupied homes carrying out plastering, plumbing and carpentry tasks to high standards.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £40,660 (experience dependent), a company van with fuel card, and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You will need a full UK driving licence and fault-finding abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong plastering experience, ideally supported by an NVQ Level 2 qualification.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• Experience working within domestic or tenanted properties.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
• Experience using PDA or mobile job management systems.
• NVQ, City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent practical experience.
• Full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs to a high standard (NVQ Level 2 preferred).
• Undertake basic plumbing repairs and minor installations.
• Complete carpentry repairs and basic joinery work.
• Perform a wide range of general maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective, long-lasting repairs.
• Work independently while contributing to a wider team environment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join a growing property maintenance team delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services within the social housing sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service. You will be working in occupied residential properties, carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure homes remain safe and well maintained.
