Job summary

Carpenter Multi Trader role in Christchurch area, Southampton. Salary £35,265 - £38,234 per annum, 40 hours per week, full-time, van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or 5 years' proven carpentry experience.
• Full UK driving licence with at least 12 months' driving experience.
• Experience in residential repairs, maintenance or housing environments.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• 1st and 2nd fix carpentry work.
• Installing internal and external doors, frames and windows.
• UPVC installation and servicing.
• Locksmith duties including entry, changes and repairs.
• Fencing repairs and installations.
• Kitchen fitting and minor joinery works.

Carpenter Multi - Christchurch

Salary: £35,265 - £38,234 per annum

Location: Southampton

Contract: Full Time, 40 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Carpenter Multi Trader to join a well-established property maintenance team working across residential properties in the Christchurch area.

This is a varied role within an Empty Homes team, carrying out carpentry repairs, installations and general maintenance works to ensure properties are ready for new occupants. A company van and fuel card are provided, along with opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and call-out work.

The Role

As a Carpenter Multi Trader, your responsibilities will include:

• 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
• Installing internal and external doors, frames and windows
• UPVC installation and servicing
• Locksmith duties including gaining entry, lock changes and repairs
• Fencing repairs and installations
• Kitchen fitting and minor joinery works
• Basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, decorating and general property maintenance

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a minimum of 5 years' proven carpentry experience
• Previous experience in residential repairs, maintenance or housing environments
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence with at least 12 months' driving experience
