Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to support a leading social housing contractor across Southampton, Winchester and Basingstoke. The role focuses on responsive repairs, joinery and carpentry, plus basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring tasks.

You will work in occupied properties, manage your workload, and participate in an out-of-hours rota. A valid NVQ 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Joiner or Carpenter
• Experience within social housing, property maintenance or responsive repairs preferred
• Competent across basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring repairs
• Experience carrying out damp and mould treatments is advantageous
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive repairs and day-to-day maintenance within occupied social housing properties
• Joinery and carpentry repairs including doors, frames, locks, kitchens and general woodwork
• Completing multi-trade works including basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring repairs
• Diagnosing repair issues and delivering high-quality first-time fixes
• Working safely and efficiently in occupied properties while providing excellent customer service
• Accurately recording completed works and updating company systems
• Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a leading social housing contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services across Southampton, Winchester and Basingstoke.
