Job summary

Prime Placers is seeking a skilled Multi Trader to deliver maintenance and refurbishment across residential and commercial sites in the UK. You will work independently or in a small team, handling materials, installing steels, brickwork, and decorating to a high standard.

Applicants should have proven multi-trade experience, relevant trade qualifications, and strong customer service skills. The role offers steady, ongoing work with potential for a salary rise and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader / Handyperson across several disciplines.
• NVQ or time-served trade qualification is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence and own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and refurbishment tasks across multiple trades.
• Assist with bringing materials to and from site and complete paperwork accurately.
• Securely install steels and perform brick/block work to a high standard.
• Paint and decorate to a high standard and ensure health and safety standards.
• Liaise professionally with clients/tenants on site.

Job description

As a Multi Trader, you’ll carry out a variety of general maintenance and refurbishment tasks across multiple trades, working independently or as part of a small team on both resdiential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help bring materials to and from site
• Securely install steels
• Complete brick and block work to a high standard
• Painting and decorating to a high standard
• Working from job sheets/schedules and completing paperwork accurately
• Ensuring all work meets health & safety standards
• Liaising professionally with clients/tenants on site

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader / Handyperson across several disciplines
• Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ or time-served) an advantage
• Valid CSCS card (preffered not essential)
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload
• Good communication and customer service skills
