Job summary

Skilled Careers in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Multi Trader for new build housing sites across Surrey, Kent, and South London. You will perform finishing and remedial works to ensure homes meet high standards and deliver quality to residents.

The role requires versatility across carpentry, painting, decorating and finishing tasks, with a strong focus on customer service and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader within the new build housing sector.
• Competent across carpentry, painting, decorating and finishing works.
• Good understanding of NHBC standards and new build quality expectations.
• Excellent customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing customer care and snagging works on occupied and unoccupied properties.
• Carrying out basic carpentry, painting, mastic, patch plastering, tiling and decorating repairs.
• Attending defects and warranty-related issues.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Liaising professionally with homeowners, site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintaining company standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Multi Trader - New Build Housing

Location: Surrey, Kent, South London

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Benefits

Are you an experienced Multi Trader with a background in new build housing We're working with a leading residential developer looking to strengthen their team with a skilled and reliable tradesperson to support housing developments and assist with pre and post-completion works.

The Role

As a Multi Trader, you'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of finishing and remedial works across new build housing developments, ensuring homes are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing customer care and snagging works on occupied and unoccupied properties.
• Carrying out basic carpentry, painting, mastic, patch plastering, tiling and decorating repairs.
• Attending defects and warranty-related issues.
