Example Recruitment is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative for social housing maintenance across occupied residential properties in Greater London. The role covers carpentry, fire door compliance, and a wide range of multi-trade repairs, with a van and fuel card provided and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• PASMA / Working at Heights if held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive repairs across occupied homes.
• Carry out carpentry works including doors and timber repairs.
• Inspect and repair fire doors and ensure compliance.
• Perform multi-trade tasks (plastering, tiling, plumbing, decorating).
• Undertake locksmith duties including lock changes and repairs.
• Carry out glazing repairs and sealing in residential units.
• Record work orders in PDA/mobile systems in real time.
• Follow health and safety procedures on all sites.
• Coordinate with supervisors to meet deadlines.

• Followed strict Health & Safety procedures on all sites
• Worked closely with supervisors and planners to meet deadlines

Qualifications
