Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Leeds seeks a skilled Multi Trade Operative to carry out repairs in tenanted properties, including plumbing, carpentry and plaster patching. The role is mostly solo with a company van and tools, covering South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will work on both occupied and void properties, maintain safety standards, and liaise with customers to provide clear updates.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be working towards NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical).
• Plumbing Level 3 with WRAS/Unvented certification may be required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Attending occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
• Resolving problems or initiating resolution and keeping customers informed
• Maintaining tools, equipment and van stock per procedures and budgets
• Providing accurate progress information easily understood by customers
• Responding to complaints and breakdowns to meet service specifications
