Job summary

VGC in Bracknell is seeking two experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join the Empty Homes team. You will carry out repairs, refurbishment, and property preparation for new tenants across Ascot, Windsor, Reading, Slough and surrounding areas.

The role requires proactive, customer-focused individuals with City & Guilds/NVQ in a trade, strong practical skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Multi Trade Operative (Empty Homes)

Salary: Up to £38,847.17 per annum + company van

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Bracknell

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Role

Empty Homes Team

The Empty Homes team is responsible for preparing vacant properties for new tenants, ensuring homes are safe, well maintained, and ready to be re-let as quickly as possible. Working closely with in-house trades teams, subcontractors, housing colleagues, and incoming residents, you'll play a vital role in transforming empty properties into welcoming homes.

We're looking for two experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join a busy Empty Homes team. You'll carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks to a high standard, helping to deliver an efficient and effective service across vacant housing stock.

The role covers Ascot, Windsor, Reading, Slough, and surrounding areas.

As part of a collaborative team, you'll undertake a variety of trade-related works, ensuring all repairs and installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with good building maintenance practices.
