Job summary

Abri in Yeovil, covering the Chard area, seeks a hands-on Multi-Trade Operative with strong carpentry skills to maintain and repair homes. You will diagnose, repair and install, using your skilled craft to get things right first time and keep residents informed.

This role encompasses carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade work inside and outside homes, with a customer-focused approach and teamwork to deliver a great service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance across homes, including carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade tasks.

Our Responsive Repairs team plays a vital role in keeping homes safe, secure, and well maintained and we’re looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative with a high skill level as a Carpenter, where you'll be reporting into our Yeovil office and covering the Chard area.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of carpentry maintenance repairs/installations, as well as being capable of additional types of work with your skill set. You’ll use your multi-skilled expertise to diagnose, repair and improve homes - always aiming to get things right first time.

You’ll be the friendly face of Abri, keeping customers informed, reassured and confident in the service they receive.
