Job summary

Abri is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative (Carpenter) to join our Responsive Repairs team in Yeovil, covering the Chard area. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing and improving homes, delivering high-quality maintenance and installations.

You'll work across carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade tasks, both inside and out, coordinating with customers to ensure clear communication and a first-time fix wherever possible.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of carpentry maintenance repairs/installations, as well as being capable of additional types of work with your skill set. You’ll use your multi-skilled expertise to diagnose, repair and improve homes – always aiming to get things right first time.

You’ll be the friendly face of Abri, keeping customers informed, reassured and confident in the service they receive.
