Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our reactive repair team covering the Nottingham area. You will work across a range of trades in occupied homes, staying busy and ensuring quality workmanship every day.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade and a full UK driving licence. We offer a competitive basic salary (£35,530 for a 39‑hour week) with OTA up to £39,586, a company van and fuel card, uniform and PPE, holidays, pension and life

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in domestic or social housing environments desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete works within occupied properties across multiple trades.
• Apply fault finding skills in domestic settings to resolve issues.
• Adhere to health & safety standards in all assignments.

The Multi Trade Operative role:

• Multi trade work-Complete workswithinoccupiedproperties, including joinery, plumbing, tiling and more
• Problem solving-Apply fault finding skills in domestic settings to resolve issues effectively.

What you will bring as a Multi Trade Operative:

You will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade, ideally with experience in domestic or social housing environments, desirable, but not essential.

With a genuine passion for improving people’s homes, you bring strong customer service skills and enjoy working with others. A full UK driving licence is required.
