Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a Multi Trade Operative to join our planned Exmouth-based team, delivering refurbishment work in domestic properties.

You will perform plumbing, plastering, tiling and carpentry tasks, ensuring timely handover and smooth transitions. We offer a competitive salary (£35,530 rising to £39,586), weekly pay with 39 hours, productivity bonuses, a company van and fuel card, PPE provided, 31 days holiday, pension, life insurance, and access to Lighthouse charity for health

Qualifications

• Level 2 carpentry or plumbing qualification required.
• Domestic/social housing experience beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake multi-trade work including plumbing, plastering, tiling and carpentry in domestic settings.
• Carry out repairs such as broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage and general kitchen/bathroom fixes.
• Ensure properties are ready for handover and deadlines are met.

Competitive basic salary of £35,530 with the potential to earn up to £39,586

The Multi Trade Operative role:

• Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilisingproblem-solving capabilities.
• Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
• You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly

What you will bring as a Multi Trade Operative:

• You will be qualified to Level 2 in either Carpentry or Plumbing, although other Level 2 trade qualifications are also welcomed.
• Domestic / social housing experience would be beneficial as would experience working void properties
• A full UK Driving License is essential for this role
