Job summary
Build Recruitment Limited is looking for a Permanent Multi Trade Operative to join a Housing Maintenance team in Slough. You will perform wet trades, carpentry and plumbing tasks within social housing contracts.
The role offers a salary of £38,000–£42,000, 23 days leave plus bank holidays, a company van and fuel card, overtime and call-out duties, with clear progression opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in social housing maintenance preferred.
- Full UK Driving License is required.
- Relevant industry qualifications and safety training.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all multi-trade works (wet trades, carpentry, plumbing, groundworks).
- Change taps and perform basic plumbing tasks.
- Replace door hardware and do basic carpentry work.

Environment Housing Maintenance
Housing Maintenance Specialist, carrying out repairs and maintenance in a professional manner. This contract is with local authorities within the Slough and surrounding area’s.
- All Multi Trade works – Wet trades, Carpentry, Plumbing, Groundworks
- Changing taps, basic plumbing
- Changing door hands, basic carpentry
- Painting & decorating
- Patch plaster
- Fixing posts and fencing
- Competent use of PDA & mobile devices
- Full UK Drivers License
- Social Housing experience preferred
- Relevant industry qualifications
- 23 Days annual leave & Bank Holidays
- Company Van & Fuel Card
