Ian Williams Ltd in Newbury is seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to join the painting-focused team servicing Reading, Newbury, Basingstoke, Winchester and Oxford. The role offers a basic salary of £37,700 with bonus opportunities and a 39-hour week, plus a company van and fuel card.

You will undertake multi-trade work in occupied residential properties, including painting, joinery, plumbing and minor repairs, with safety and documentation prioritized.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 level or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience.
• Experience in residential maintenance and repairs is advantageous.
• Full UK driving license is essential and a company van is provided.

Responsibilities

• Undertake multi-trade work, mainly painting in occupied residential properties.
• Complete minor repairs including joinery, plumbing, plastering, flooring, tiling and general repairs.

The Multi Trade Role

• Undertaking multi trade work - mainly painting in occupied residential properties to complete minor repair work, including joinery, plumbing, patch plastering, flooring, tiling and general repair works.
• Yours, the team and the customer's Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring all working environments are safe and relevant documentation is completed at all stages.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative?

• Qualified to an NVQ 2 level or able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role
• Experience working in residential maintenance and repairs works environment would be very advantageous
• Possession of a full current UK Driving license is essential to complete the Multi Trade role, with a company van provided.
