Job summary

Principal Property Services Limited is seeking skilled tradespeople to carry out reinstatement and refurbishment works in occupied domestic properties within the Leicester area. You should bring pride in workmanship and a focus on customer service.

Essential trades include carpentry, kitchen installation, bathroom fitting, plastering, tiling, flooring, brickwork, and painting. Own van and tools, suitable insurance, and a valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Own van capable of carrying tools and materials.
• Possess own tools and equipment.
• Hold relevant trade qualifications or demonstrable industry experience.
• Have Public Liability Insurance and a valid UK driving licence.
• DBS check up-to-date or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Complete reinstatement and refurbishment works in occupied domestic properties.
• Deliver workmanship of a high standard with strong customer service.

About the Role

Working within occupied domestic properties, you will be responsible for completing a variety of reinstatement and refurbishment works following insurance claims. We are seeking skilled individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential Trade Skills

Applicants should be competent in at least three or more of the following trades:

• First and second fix carpentry
• Kitchen installation and bespoke joinery
• Bathroom fitting
• Plastering
• Plumbing
• Basic electrical works
• Wall and floor tiling
• Flooring installation, including:
  • Solid wood flooring
  • Laminate flooring
  • Glue-down vinyl flooring
• Brickwork and blockwork
• Landscaping and external works
• Painting and decorating

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have your own van suitable for carrying tools and materials
• Possess your own tools and equipment
• Have relevant trade qualifications and/or demonstrable industry experience
• Hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance
• Have an up-to-date DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Be reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• Hold a full UK driving licence
