Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a Multi Trade Operative to join our direct trades team. You will work on internal refurbishment programmes in Rugby and surrounding areas, mainly carpentry (kitchen fitting) with minor plumbing/tiling, while delivering excellent customer service in clients’ homes.

We offer a competitive salary (£34,293) for a 39-hour week, with potential earnings over £40,000 with OTE, plus a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 level joinery qualification.
• Experience as a Multi Trade in domestic settings, fitting kitchens.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Self-motivated and able to meet individual and team targets.
• Full valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry (kitchen fitting) and minor plumbing and tiling.
• Provide professional customer service in customers’ homes, including vulnerable settings.
• Work solo or in a trade team to meet targets.

The Multi Trade Operative Role

• The main trade is carpentry (kitchen fitting), as well as undertaking other minor works in plumbing and tiling.
• The ability to work professionally and demonstrate excellent customer service skills within people’s homes, including vulnerable settings.
• Working individually and sometimes as part of a trade team whilst always working to complete targets.

What Will You Bring As a Multi Trade Operative

• Qualified to an NVQ 2 level joinery.
• Previous experience as a Multi Trade undertaking first and second fix installation works, preferably in the domestic setting, fitting kitchens.
• A proficient level of health and safety awareness and working knowledge.
• Motivated in your approach to work and able to work to individual and team output targets.
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence.
