Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd in the Exmouth area is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to carry out refurbishment works in customers' properties. You will undertake multi trade tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, tiling and plastering to prepare homes for handover.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35,530 rising to £39,586), a guaranteed 39-hour week, weekly pay, a company van and fuel card, 31 days holiday, pension, life insurance and access to health and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 2 in Carpentry or Plumbing.
• Domestic/social housing experience beneficial.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake multi-trade work (plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, carpentry) in a domestic setting, using problem-solving skills.
• Carry out repairs such as leaking pipes, blocked drains, kitchen and bathroom fixes.
• Ensure properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes.

The Multi Trade Operative Role

• Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilising problem-solving capabilities.
• Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
• You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly

What You Will Bring As a Multi Trade Operative

• You will be qualified to Level 2 in either Carpentry or Plumbing, although other Level 2 trade qualifications are also welcomed.
• Domestic / social housing experience would be beneficial as would experience working void properties
• A full UK Driving License is essential for this role
