Job summary

Red Personnel is recruiting a skilled Multi Trade Operative to support maintenance across student accommodation properties in London. You will perform responsive repairs, planned maintenance and electrical/general multi-trade tasks within occupied buildings, working in a busy facilities team to keep residents safe and comfortable.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Plumbing, plus relevant trades experience and strong health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

Experience as Multi Trade Operative or similar.
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Plumbing required.
Good health and safety knowledge and safe systems of work.
Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across student accommodation properties.
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
Diagnose and rectify building defects and maintenance issues.
Complete electrical and general multi-trade maintenance tasks.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety legislation.
Conduct dynamic risk assessments before undertaking work.
Maintain accurate records through digital job management systems.
Identify and report additional maintenance requirements.
Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.
Ensure properties remain safe, warm and fully operational for residents.
