Job summary

RG Setsquare is sourcing a Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative for a housing repairs contractor in Yeovil. The role is temporary for six months, starting ASAP, with a 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule.

A van can be supplied, and candidates must have a full UK driving licence and be able to perform basic carpentry, plumbing and related maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will hold a C&G or NVQ trade qualification and be prepared to adapt to other trades as required, with DBS and asbestos

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry or plumbing with ability to turn hand to other trades.
• Own tools and full UK driving licence.
• Asbestos awareness; DBS can be arranged for successful candidate.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative - An all rounder

Resourcing Group is working with a Maintenance Contractor who have a contract, directly managing the day to day responsive repairs on behalf of their end client, a Housing Association with housing stock based in and around Yeovil, South Somerset and across in to Dorset also. They carry out their own repairs and maintenance, operating in occupied and empty properties.

The business would like to hire 1 additional experienced Multi Trade person with a either a C&G or NVQ trade qualification. The ideal person will have demonstrable experience with in either Carpentry or Plumbing, with the ability to turn your hand to other trades also eg basic tiling, patch repair, general maintenance, basic plumbing/carpentry, depending on your core trade plus general repair works.

These role is being offered on a temporary basis, for a period of 6 months initially and is available to start ASAP.

The working week is Monday to Friday 8am to 430pm.
