Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a Multi Trade Carpenter to join our established residential trades team across Hampshire. You will perform carpentry (kitchens) and assist with plumbing/tiling, while delivering high standards of customer service in clients’ homes.

The role includes a 39-hour week with a competitive salary of £37,700, potential OTE up to £41,756, a company van and fuel card, plus PPE, holidays, pension, life insurance, and access to legal/financial support.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry is required.
• Previous multi-trade experience in domestic settings preferred.
• Strong health and safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry as the main trade (kitchen fitting) and minor plumbing/tiling works.
• Install vinyl sheet flooring and tiling where required.
• Deliver excellent customer service in clients’ homes, including in vulnerable settings.
• Work independently or with a team to meet targets.

Building on strong foundations, our Capital/Planned Maintenance team has secured new projects, and we’re looking for Multi Trade Carpenters to join us. You’ll be part of an established and friendly direct trades team working within residential properties throughout Hampshire and surrounding areas, completing internal refurbishment programmes.

The Multi Trade Carpenter role:

• The main trade is carpentry (kitchen fitting), as well as undertaking other minor works in plumbing and tiling (kitchens and ideally bathrooms), install vinyl sheet flooring, & tiling
• The ability to work professionally and demonstrate excellent customer service skills within people’s homes, including vulnerable settings
• Working individually and sometimes as part of a trade team whilst always working to complete targets.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Carpenter:

• Qualified to an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
• Previous experience as a Multi Trade undertaking first and second fix installation works, preferably in the domestic setting, fitting kitchens
• A proficient level of health and safety awareness and working knowledge
• Motivated in your approach to work and able to work to individual and team output targets
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence.
