Job summary

BCHA are seeking a full-time Multi Trade Operative to join our repairs and maintenance team, working predominantly across Dorset. You will bring a trades background with skills in bathroom and kitchen fitting, plastering, tiling and painting, handling both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

This role requires travel within Dorset; you must hold a full driving licence to drive a company van. A 40-hour week is standard, with a provided van, smartphone, uniform and PPE, plus opportunities for

• Experience in multiple trades and finishing works is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across Dorset.

Job description

BCHA are seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join our repairs and maintenance team working predominantly across Dorset.

You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within the Housing sector.

As a multi-trade operative you will have a trades background, ideally with skills and experience in bathroom fitting, kitchen fitting, plastering, tiling and painting and be required to work across a mix of planned and reactive maintenance.

There is a strong emphasis on customer service in these roles, as the customer is often present on site.

Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full and current driving licence that is acceptable to our insurers and have the ability to drive a company van.

This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week. A van, smartphone, uniform and PPE will be provided.
