Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Multi Task Warehouse Operative at a client site near Luton Airport. The role covers receiving, picking and packing stock, data input and cycle counting, with occasional local deliveries. Shifts are 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm, and full training is provided.

Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and the ability to work well in a team or independently. Counterbalance forklift licenses are advantageous, and the role requires up to date right to work

Job description

A great opportunity to work as a Multi Task Warehouse Operative at our clients site in Luton Airport.

Pay

The rate of pay is £13.50-£20.25 per hour.

Hours of work

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm

Responsibilities

• Receiving, picking, and packing stock in a safe and efficient manner
• Completing a range of warehouse inventory
• Data input and related admin tasks
• Cycle counting of stock within the warehouse.
• Undertaking local deliveries
• Stock Put away from deliveries
• Operating in a safe manner, in accordance with training provided
• Working alongside Team Members to achieve targets and meet customer expectations.

Requirements/Ideal Candidate

• Good attention to detail, and an accurate way of working to ensure all documentation and data is correct.
• Manual handling experience
• The quality of work is the main consideration, so a good level of attention to detail is required.
• Excellent IT skills
• Understanding the need for a high level of customer service
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as a part of a team but also show initiative when required to work independently.
• Counterbalance Forklift and Reach Truck licenses would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
