Job summary

Gordon and MacPhail is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator to join our warehousing team in the UK. You will handle stock control, data recording, and order fulfilment while meeting KPI targets.

The role requires practical warehousing experience, strong numeracy and literacy, and good communication skills. A counterbalance forklift certificate is desirable and the candidate must be able to work autonomously within a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Previous practical warehousing and stock control experience.
• Attention to detail in observation and application.
• Counterbalance forklift certificate is desirable.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and plan workload.
• Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, make decisions and take initiative.
• Strong organisation skills and multitasking ability.
• Familiarity with manual handling techniques in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil warehousing and stock keeping tasks.
• Record stock information accurately.
• Ensure supply and order fulfilment aligns with KPIs.
• Work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
