Job summary

Stoneham Construction is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to work across residential new builds and commercial schemes, delivering high workmanship to tight deadlines.

You will perform first and second fix carpentry, plastering, general building and finishing works, reading drawings, and collaborating across trades on site. A CSCS card and a UK driving licence are preferred; you should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson.
• Experience on new build and/or commercial construction sites.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

The Role

You will be hands-on across a range of construction activities. Projects will vary and may include:

• First and second fix carpentry
• Plastering
• General building and finishing works
• Assisting across multiple trades as required on site
• Working on both residential new builds and commercial projects
• Reading and working from drawings and specifications
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

About You

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson
• Experience on new build and/or commercial construction sites
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Valid CSCS card (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
