Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a trades professional to deliver snagging and finishing work across multiple new build sites near Exeter. You will handle carpentry and related tasks on occupied and unoccupied homes, traveling between sites within roughly an hour of central Exeter.

Applicants should have proven multi-trade/building experience, CSCS card, and a willingness to travel. NVQ in a trade is preferred but not essential. A driving licence and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ's in a trade are preferable but not essential.
• CSCS card is essential.
• Proven experience in carpentry, multi-trade skills, and general building.
• Finishing skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple sites located roughly within 1 hour of central Exeter.
• Deliver snagging, finishing and minor works in houses.
• Take on occupied and unoccupied odd jobs on new build homes.
• Communicate via app to pick up day-to-day tasks.
• Deliver carpentry, painting, patching, mastic, tiling, plastering, boarding as needed.
• Repair identified snags and collaborate with team or work independently.

An excellent opportunity to start a long termposition with a growing Devonbased construction contractor. They provide a variety of trade services within the house building industry.

They pride themselveson delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, as a small but busy team ofskilled professional trades.

Day to day:

• To work across multiple sites that are locatedroughly within 1 hour of central Exeter.
• Deliver snagging, finishingsand minorworks inhouses.
• Taking on occupied and unoccupied odd jobs on new build homes.
• Working from an application and staying in regular communicationto pick up your day to day jobs.
• Delivering carpentry, painting, patching, mastic, tiling, plastering, boarding, depending on your skill set.
• Repair different marked and pre identifiedbasic new build snags.
• You could be collaborating with team members orworking independently.

Requirements:

• NVQ's as a trade are preferable but not essential.
• CSCS card is essential.
• Proven experience in carpentry, multi trade skills, and general building.
• Finishing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
• Valid driving license and vehicle.
• Willingness to work to travel to.
• Experience working onhousing sites.
