Job summary

Timberwise is seeking a Property Care Technician to join our team across the UK, handling damp and timber treatment, waterproofing, and plastering tasks in the Surrey area. You will travel and work on site, maintaining Timberwise’s reputation for quality and service.

The role requires plastering/joinery skills, a proactive approach, strong teamwork, and a CSCS card. Full training will be provided and a competitive salary with overtime is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven plastering and/or joinery skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to plan and manage own workload.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• CSCS card held.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Full training will be provided for preservation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.
• Carry out waterproofing installations and first/second fix joinery work.
• Complete general plastering tasks as required.
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the Timberwise brand on every project.

The Role

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team of Property Care Technicians across the UK. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of property preservation and repair works, with travel required throughout the Surrey area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.
• Carry out waterproofing installations and associated first and second fix joinery work.
• Complete general plastering tasks as required.
• Ensure all works are completed to the highest standard, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the Timberwise brand professionally on every project.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven skills in plastering and/or joinery.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid CSCS card.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.

Working Hours and Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (with occasional out-of-hours or weekend work paid as overtime)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skill level
