Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi Skilled Shift Supervisor to oversee the safe operation of equipment and services within a critical environment in London. You will lead a team of engineers and ensure maintenance activities are delivered to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include supervising day and night engineers, prioritising planned maintenance, and ensuring tasks meet KPIs. This role requires relevant electrical and safety qualifications and willingness to join a call-out rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a team of engineers in a critical environment.
• Ability to prioritise planned maintenance and statutory tasks.
• Experience recording works and managing safety compliance.
• Willingness to participate in a call-out rota and meet DV clearance requirements.

ROLE: Multi Skilled Shift Supervisor

HOURS: 42 Hours per Week

LOCATION: London

Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off.

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Supervisor to oversee the safe operation of equipment and services within a critical environment, while leading a team of engineers and ensuring maintenance activities are delivered to the highest standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment and services are maintained and operated safely.
• Supervise a team of day and shift engineers, providing guidance and support where required.
• Ensure all planned maintenance activities are completed in line with scheduled dates.
• Prioritise Statutory and Mandatory tasks while ensuring Reactive Tasks are completed within required priorities.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure contractual maintenance and installation requirements are achieved.

Required Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification, or equivalent.
• HVAP qualification with relevant high-voltage experience.
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations qualification (desirable).
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
• Equivalent mechanical qualifications will also be considered with the appropriate level of experience.

Additional Requirements

• Previous experience working within a critical environment, such as a data centre, would be advantageous.
• Experience in all aspects of electrical installation and repair work is essential.
• IT experience is required to accurately record completed works.
• Strong understanding of Statutory Compliance requirements.
• Must be available to participate in a call-out rota.
• Must hold UK citizenship and be eligible to obtain DV Clearance.
